Extraction limits

How your monthly auction sheet extraction allowance works, how to read the usage warning, and what happens when you hit the limit.

Updated Apr 19, 2026

Each auction sheet upload uses one extraction credit. Your plan includes a monthly allowance, and you'll see a usage warning as you approach the limit. This article explains how the allowance works.

Where you see it

The extraction usage warning card appears on the Auction sheet tab of a vehicle when you're near the limit. It shows how many credits you've used, how many your plan includes, and when the window resets.

When a credit is used

A credit is used each time an extraction runs, including successful extractions and failed ones caused by image quality. Retrying after a timeout or a service error does not charge an extra credit; it's the same extraction attempting to complete.

Deleting an extraction does not refund a credit.

When you hit the limit

Once you reach your plan's monthly limit, you can't start a new extraction until the window resets. The upload button is disabled and a message explains why.

Two ways to continue:

  • Wait for the window to reset at the date shown on the usage card.
  • Upgrade your plan for a higher limit. Billing and plans are covered in the Billing & Account category.

Reviewing and approving still works

Hitting the limit only blocks new extractions. Existing extractions can still be reviewed, edited, approved, or deleted. You're only prevented from uploading more sheets until your allowance refreshes.

How to reduce wasted credits

  • Supply a clean, full-resolution scan or a sharp photo so the extraction works first time. Quality tips are in When an extraction fails.
  • Review the sheet briefly before uploading, especially for small or blurred images, to avoid a guaranteed failure.
  • Don't re-upload the same sheet to correct a typo. Edit the fields directly in the review screen; editing does not use a new credit.
