The Reports area

What's in the Reports section, who can access it, and how the Operations and Commercial tabs fit together.

Updated Apr 19, 2026

The Reports section turns your pipeline, cost, and sales data into a set of at-a-glance views so you can see how your business is doing without poking through individual records. It's split into two tabs, Operations and Commercial, with a shared filter bar at the top.

Before you start

  • You need Reports view permission.
  • Your plan needs Reports included. Reports is a Pro feature; on Core you won't see the section at all. See What's included on Core vs Pro.

Open Reports from the sidebar.

The two tabs

Operations

Operations answers "where is my inventory, and what's blocking it?" At a glance you see how many vehicles are in stock, in transit, and ready for sale; how old your stock is; what's stuck; and what needs your attention today.

Full tour in The Operations tab.

Commercial

Commercial answers "how is my business doing financially?" It shows total stock value, gross profit, sales velocity, and margin across your vehicles. It also surfaces vehicles that need pricing or costing attention.

The filter bar

Both tabs use the same filter bar at the top. By default the view is this month, but you can change the date range, narrow to a specific stage, make, or model, and slice by customer, supplier, or salesperson.

Every number on every chart and table respects the filters you've set. Changing a filter updates both tabs at once.

How to read Reports

  • Start wide, then narrow. Leave filters on the defaults for a weekly snapshot. Switch to a specific stage or customer when you're investigating something.
  • Follow the attention items. The Needs attention strip on Operations and the actionable tables on both tabs surface specific vehicles that need a human; click through to the relevant area to fix them.
  • Hover the charts. Chart tooltips show exact numbers and dates so you don't have to eyeball.

What Reports isn't

  • Not a custom report builder. You can filter, but you can't define new metrics or rearrange the layout. If there's a report you need, the Operations and Commercial tabs cover the common cases.
  • Not a data export. For a full export of your organisation's records, use Data management in Settings.
  • Not live to the second. Reports read from your data at the time you open the page. Refresh the page to pick up very recent changes.
