Filtering your reports

Every filter in the Reports filter bar and what it does.

Updated Apr 19, 2026

The filter bar at the top of Reports applies to both the Operations and Commercial tabs. Set it once and every KPI, chart, and table across both tabs updates to match.

Before you start

  • You need Reports view permission and a Pro plan.
  • You're on Reports.

Date range

Pick a preset or a custom range:

  • Last 7 days: rolling seven-day window ending today.
  • This month (default): first of this month to today.
  • Last month: full calendar month.
  • This year: first of January to today.
  • Last year: full calendar year.
  • Custom: type a From and To date for any window you want.

The date range applies to stock counts as of today and to sale, profit, and margin figures as of the selected window. Stock-over-time charts always show recent movement regardless of the range.

Stage

Narrow the view to a single pipeline stage: Purchased, In transit, Arrived, At workshop, Sale ready, or Sold / Delivered. Leave blank to include every stage.

Make and model

  • Make filters vehicles by manufacturer (Toyota, Nissan, and so on). The list is populated from your organisation's makes (see Vehicle data defaults).
  • Model is scoped to the selected Make. Pick a make first.

Sold filter

Three choices:

  • All: every vehicle in range.
  • Sold: only vehicles that have been sold.
  • Unsold: only vehicles that are still in stock.

Useful for separating "how have we been doing on sold units" from "what's in our stock right now".

More filters

A set of extra filters for deeper slices:

  • Shipment status: narrow to vehicles on shipments in a specific voyage stage. See Shipment statuses.
  • Customer: filter to vehicles linked to a specific customer.
  • Supplier: filter to vehicles from a specific supplier.
  • Sold by: filter to vehicles sold by a specific team member.

All filter options come from your actual data. If you don't see a supplier or customer in the dropdown, they don't have any linked vehicles in range.

Clearing filters

The filter bar has a reset action that brings everything back to the defaults (this month, all stages, all makes, all sold).

Keyboard tip

You can tab through the filter bar from left to right. Date presets are keyboard-activated with Enter or Space once focused.
