Sending emails automatically
Set up automations so the right email goes out when something happens to a vehicle.
Automations send a template on their own when something happens to a vehicle, so you do not have to remember.
Building one
Under Settings, Customer emails, in Automations, build a sentence:
When a vehicle becomes In transit, send Status update immediately.
Choose the trigger, the template, and when to send (immediately, or a number of days later). A common one is to send a review request a week after delivery.
Turn each automation on or off with its switch, or remove it with the bin icon.
What customers receive
Automated emails only go to a customer who is linked to the vehicle and has an email address on file. If an email cannot be sent (for example there is no address), you are notified so you can fix it. Emails are sent during daytime hours in your business's time zone.
