Upgrading or downgrading your plan

Move between Solo, Core, and Pro, schedule a downgrade for the end of the billing period, and cancel a scheduled downgrade.

Updated May 20, 2026

Upgrading and downgrading are both done from the Billing page. Upgrades take effect straight away. Downgrades are scheduled for the end of your current billing period so you get the rest of what you've already paid for.

Before you start

  • You need to be an admin.
  • You're on SettingsBilling.
  • Your subscription status is Active.

Upgrading your plan

  1. Click the upgrade button for your target plan on the Billing page (for example Upgrade to Core or Upgrade to Pro).
  2. Read the summary in the sheet that opens, including the new monthly amount.
  3. Confirm.

What happens:

  • The upgrade is immediate. You get the new plan's features and limits straight away.
  • Your next invoice is prorated so you only pay for the time remaining in the current billing period at the new rate.
  • If you upgrade to Pro, your extraction allowance activates immediately.

See What's included in each plan for the feature and limits comparison.

Downgrading your plan

  1. Click the downgrade button for your target plan on the Billing page (for example Downgrade to Core or Downgrade to Solo).
  2. Read the summary in the sheet, including the date the change takes effect.
  3. Confirm.

What happens:

  • The downgrade is scheduled, not immediate. Your plan stays on the current tier until the end of your current billing period.
  • The Billing page shows a note saying your plan will change and when.
  • You keep your current features and allowances until the change takes effect.
  • At the scheduled date, your plan automatically flips and future invoices are at the new rate.

Things to check before you downgrade

Downgrading from Pro to Core

When the downgrade takes effect:

  • User limit drops from 25 to 5. If you have more than 5 active members, access is affected. Review your team before the change date.
  • Active vehicle limit drops from unlimited to 50. Above-limit vehicles stay, but adding new ones is blocked.
  • Reports, API access, planning sheets, and job sheets stop working.
  • Auction sheet extraction stops. Existing extractions stay visible and approvable; uploading new sheets is blocked.

Downgrading to Solo

When the downgrade to Solo takes effect:

  • User limit drops to 1. If your organisation has more than one active member, you'll see a warning before the change date. Remove extra users or reassign responsibilities before the downgrade takes effect.
  • Active vehicle limit drops to 10. Above-limit vehicles stay, but adding new ones is blocked until you're within the limit.
  • If you're downgrading from Pro, the same Pro-specific features (reports, API access, planning sheets, job sheets, auction sheet extraction) also stop working.

If any of these break your workflow, either postpone the downgrade or address the overage before the date.

Cancelling a scheduled downgrade

Changed your mind before the scheduled date? Click Cancel scheduled downgrade on the Billing page.

  • The scheduled change is reversed.
  • Your plan stays on its current tier.
  • Your next invoice is at the current rate as before.

You can re-schedule another downgrade any time.

If self-service buttons don't appear

  • Legacy-granted plans don't expose self-service upgrades or downgrades. Contact support to change plan.
  • Past due or Canceled subscriptions hide the upgrade and downgrade buttons. Fix the payment issue first; covered in When a payment fails.
