Setting up your organisation
Fill out your organisation profile and understand what each field affects in the rest of the app.
Updated Apr 18, 2026
Your organisation profile is the first thing to fill in. A few of the fields (currency behaviour, timezones, branding on customer-facing pages) quietly flow through the rest of the app, so it's worth a few careful minutes here.
Before you start
- You need the admin role
- If you're working through the in-app setup checklist, this is Step 1, Organization profile
To set up your organisation
- Open Settings → Organization
- Fill in the fields (described below)
- Click Save
What each field does
- Name: shown throughout the app, on exported documents, and on the public tracking page your customers see
- Logo: appears on public tracking pages and on branded exports
- Contact email and Phone: shown on customer-facing documents and tracking pages
- Address: used on invoices and compliance paperwork
- Country: drives locale defaults (currency, date format, timezone suggestions)
- Timezone: controls activity timestamps, workshop calendar times, and when scheduled notifications go out
- VAT number and Company registration number: appear on invoices and legal documents where required
- Require two-factor authentication: when on, every team member must enrol in 2FA before they can access the app
Good to know
- Country and timezone cascade into reports, scheduled notifications, and the workshop calendar. Changing them later is possible but can shift timestamps and schedules, so pick carefully.
- The logo is the one your customers see on their tracking page, so use the branding you'd put on your public website.
- Turning on Require two-factor authentication applies to everyone, including existing members. Make sure your team is ready before flipping it on; team members who haven't enrolled will be blocked from the app until they do.
