The Suppliers list
What the Suppliers list shows, how to search it, and how to view archived suppliers.
The Suppliers list is your single view of every supplier your organisation works with: auction houses, exporters, dealers, brokers, and private sellers. From here you can search, add a new supplier, or open a detail page.
Before you start
- You need Suppliers view permission to open the list.
- You need Suppliers edit permission to add a supplier.
What each row shows
- Name (linked to the supplier's detail page)
- Contact (contact name, falling back to email or phone if contact name is blank)
- Location (city and country, joined)
- Status (Active or Archived)
Searching
Use the search box at the top to filter by name, contact name, or email. Matching is case-insensitive and partial, so "exp" matches "Tokyo Exporters". The search is debounced, so there's a short pause before the list updates.
Phone numbers aren't searchable, and the address fields aren't searchable. Search by name or contact instead.
Adding a supplier quickly
With edit permission you also see a New supplier name input and an Add supplier button. Type a name and click Add, and a new supplier is created with that name and nothing else. Open the new record to fill in contact, address, payment terms, and so on. Covered in Adding a supplier.
Showing archived suppliers
By default the list only shows active suppliers. Click Show archived at the top to switch to the archived view, and Hide archived to switch back. Archive and unarchive themselves live on the supplier detail page; see Archiving a supplier.
Page size and pagination
Choose 20, 50, or 100 rows per page. The default is 20. Your search and the archived view are preserved across pages.
Empty states
- With no search applied and active view: "No suppliers yet."
- With no search applied and archived view: "No archived suppliers."
- With a search and no matches: "No suppliers match
"..."."
Opening a supplier
Click the supplier's name to open the detail page with KPI cards, profile, documents, vehicles, and activity timeline.
