Uploading supplier documents
Attach invoices, contracts, or scans to a supplier record and open them later.
Updated Apr 18, 2026
Supplier documents are files you want to keep alongside the supplier record itself: invoices, contracts, price sheets, scans, anything that applies to the supplier as a whole rather than to one specific vehicle.
Before you start
- You need Suppliers edit permission to upload.
- You're on the supplier's detail page, in the Documents section.
Uploading
- Click Choose file and pick the file from your computer.
- Optionally add a short Notes line so your team knows what it is.
- Click Upload document.
The file appears in the list below, and a Document uploaded entry is added to the activity timeline.
What the list shows
Each row has:
- The file name you uploaded.
- Your notes (or a dash if you left them blank).
- The timestamp it was uploaded.
- An Open link that opens the file in a new tab.
What belongs here and what doesn't
- Belongs here: documents that describe the supplier relationship as a whole. A yearly contract. A supplier statement. A standing price sheet.
- Doesn't belong here: documents tied to one specific vehicle, for example an auction sheet, a bill of sale, or a purchase invoice for a single car. Attach those to the vehicle itself. See the Documents section of a vehicle, covered in Vehicles & Pipeline.
Good to know
- File types aren't restricted in the upload form. Use whatever format your team uses.
- Files are served through short-lived links that refresh each time you load the page.
- There's no delete control in the current UI. If you've uploaded something in error, contact support.
